I pulled this giant Mexican Sunflower plant out of a shady spot because it was taking up too much space and not blooming. I set it on an accidentally sunny spot on our path three days ago to take it to yard waste later…

Those flowers will probably become seeds.

On days when I feel sad about the health of our beautiful planet, I’m going to try to remember the incredible creator of this plant, not to mention his all-powerfulness…ness.
